Springboro group chains volunteers to help dogs
The Springboro group of volunteers for Dogs Deserve Better will be chaining themselves to dog houses and ground stakes on July 5th in front of the newly opened dog salon, Wash Your Dog, at 734B North Main St, Springboro, Ohio from 10am till 6pm. We are supporting the National group Dogs Deserve Better in their Freedom for Chained Dogs campaign which is running from June 27th thru July 7th in Chicago. Our goal is to educate the public about chaining and to let people know that there are cities in the US where it is illegal to chain a dog continuously, like Middletown Ohio, where the law was changed last year. We are also taking donations to help dogs that are formerly chained and are now in our Rescue group for adoption. More info can be obtained by calling Lois Rose at 937 684 7421 if you want to participate or just comment. The public is welcome to participate. The event will take place in all weather except thunderstorms.
